And so the lectures came to an end. That's it. Fin. Over. They've now didactically taught everything they can and so now comes the steep practical learning curve. Eep! It's a massive relief, and very exciting, but bloody scary at the same time.

:-) Hehe, yes, vet school in the US is only four years (but most students have obtained a four year Bachelors degree first!) so for me - I am going on 7 years at the University of Florida as I did my undergraduate degree here as well!

Its exciting to be finished with lectures!! Hope you enjoy your clinical year :-) Things here at UF are done a bit differently, and our clinical year is split up so we have 8 months on clinics as third years, then back into lectures, and I don't go back into clinics again until January 2010 (and I will stay in clinics until I graduate in May 2010). Although I am going on externships this summer (including to the UK! Liverpool Uni and a feline clinic in Edinburgh).
